Monthly PeopleQuiz T-Shirt Overview

A very special thanks to all our players who have participated in our tee shirt contests this month!

As a reminder, this month's contest will end at 12:00 EST midnight on the last day of the month.

How wonderful it is to see so many diverse quizzes being submitted by authors all over the globe! Our deepest gratitude to those who have written quizzes so far this month! Our players are the very soul of who we are - you make the site glow with originality.

As the month closes, we have just a few reminders for all our quiz authors:

1. All quizzes must be submitted to us by the above deadline. Seeing that there may be an influx of last minute quizzes submitted on the last day of the month, please allow us a 24-hour window to get all quizzes edited and approved.

2. Winners will be announced on the first day of the following month at 8:00pm EST.

3. Please make certain you have reviewed the Quiz Design Guidelines carefully, especially if you are a first time author.

4. Watch your grammar and punctuation, especially capitalization! We've had many quizzes submitted with improper punctuation.

5. Watch out for time dependent questions, the most common mistake made by our quiz writers. Time dependent questions are those for which the answer may change over time. For example, "Who is the singer for Van Halen?" may change down the road someday making the question obsolete. A better way to word this question would be "Who was the second singer for Van Halen?"

Also, watch out for the word(s) "only" or "set a record." Reword a question like "Who is the only player to score 50 points in a Bears game?" to "Who is the first player to score 50 points in a Bears game?"

Making the above changes makes certain that questions never get obsolete!
